Delivery & Returns
Order Confirmation
As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery
Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at Support@ModelBedroom.com so that we can help.
Free Delivery Terms
We offer Free Delivery to most of the UK on all our products unless stated otherwise however if you are in a remote area such as the Scottish Highlands, some areas of Wales or some other remote areas please contact us for charges which range from £19.99 to £99.99. Please also note that the postcodes classed as Scottish Highlands can vary, depending on supplier courier & their own zone rules. Please contact us for details.
Delivery Lead Times
We deliver directly from our manufacturers in order to ensure you receive your good(s) as quickly as possible. Our delivery lead times therefore vary and are dependent on the manufacturer of the good(s) you have ordered. All delivery lead times are clearly stated at the top of the product page. Whilst most of our deliveries are made well within the delivery lead time, these are approximations and on certain occasions, factors beyond our control, such as weather, can result in small delays.

Unfortunately we do not deliver to Northern Ireland and offshore islands, at this current time.
Damages:
We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to Support@ModelBedroom.com so that we can process it on your behalf.
Returns
We offer 14-day cancellation policy unless otherwise stated. Any goods for return must be notified to us in writing as soon as possible and within 14 days commencing from the day after receipt. Any non-faulty goods returned without notice during the period we reserve the right to refuse.
Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.
All items returning back to us, must arrive in the unused original packaging/condition. If items have been assembled and/or modified then we will be unable to accept the return. If, when the goods are inspected we find any of the above has been breached we will return the item to you at your expense and no refund will be given.
Made to Order Items
If the item you have ordered, is not from our held stock we would have commissioned a supplier to make that item specially for you, so therefore it falls outside of the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
However, we will do our best to cancel the order with the supplier but if we are unable to do so (because the item has already gone into production etc), you will be required to forfeit some good % of the cancellation order value, to cover the costs borne by the company.
Defects with Items
In the event of an alleged defect with goods fitted and used but still under warranty, the purchaser must return the goods to us for inspection and assessment of the fault. If the defect is deemed a fault covered by warranty and still within the cover period we will pursue the claim with the utmost importance, once approved you will be entitled to a warranty repair. As outlined before, please contact us prior to making any returns so that we are aware of the return initially and also so we can begin to establish if the fault is one that is covered by the terms of the warranty and ensure that the product is still within the warranty period.
The provisions of these clauses do not affect your statutory rights.
